Sephora & Pantone Color IQ iPad app for choosing and buying foundation is now available at Sephora’s Times Square and Powell Street, San Francisco. It’s only a matter of time before all of the Sephora stores carry the app to help you select the correct foundation color. First, a salesperson will hold a spectrocolorimeter to your face (think tiny camera). The meter snaps 27 photos of your skin and spits out a number (between 1-110 on the Pantone color chart) based on the depth of the skin’s color and the warmth or coolness of its undertones. Then, the app searches all the foundation shades sold at Sephora to find the best match for your complexion!
