HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY MAKEUP?

Replace My MakeupOver time, makeup can develop bacteria, yeast and fungi which are the last thing you want to be putting on your face! A few tips to keep your makeup bacteria free:

  • NEVER share your makeup with anyone
  • ALWAYS use makeup brushes instead of your fingers
  • STORE your makeup in a cool, dry place.
  • THROW AWAY any makeup that smells bad or looks different than it did when you purchased it or if the consistency changes
  • REPLACE  your makeup as follows:
    • Foundation – 6 months – 1 year
    • Lipstick  – 2-3 years
    • Mascara – every 3 to 6 months
    • Eye & Lip Pencils – every 2-3 years
    • Powder & Blush – every 2-3 years
    • Powder Eye Shadows – every 2 to 3 years
